So, we got a 2006 vacation...


It was a very windy Sunday morning on December 24, 2006. We boarded around 9:30 AM. ETD was 11:45 AM. Our ship was the Super Ferry 5. Not as big as its newer brothers, the ship proved stable over the water. With the Philippine flag flowing with the wind, we set sail.


With able men from the Aboitiz crew, we were assured that our safety is not compromised. The cargo hold is closed and final checks carried out before the ropes were untied.

Then the tug pulled us off the pier and ... sea, here we come. Bacolod, see you in 20 hours!
